The state capital of Arizona, and the largest city in the state, Phoenix, rises from the Sonoran Desert to cover about 518 square miles. The metropolitan area has a population of 4.3 million and has become an increasingly popular destination for golfers, retirees, and young entrepreneurs. Though the sun may shine more often here than it does in most places in the U.S., spiritual darkness is a reality for far too much of this city. Brian Bowman, our lead pastor, planted Valley Life Church in North Phoenix in 2012. Since then, Valley Life has planted six other churches in the valley, creating community and bringing the gospel to the unreached.

The Events Team hosts every event associated with Valley Life Church, creating a family-friendly environment for our church. Every year, Valley Life hosts multiple community events to reach our neighbors around us. At each of our community events, we have a way to connect them to Valley Life, and at the very least create an atmosphere to have gospel conversations. Rahab’s Daughters is a growing movement of volunteers, donors, action-takers, and world-changers working together to fight human trafficking. Since 2015, Rahab’s Daughters has rescued people ranging from children to adults, hosted nearly 700 community awareness talks, and trained hundreds of volunteers in the fight against human trafficking. One of our own, Ricky Haro, serves as a volunteer on Rahab’s team. Additionally, Valley Life Church donates twice a year through our missions fund to Rahab’s Daughters.
